If you are looking at this page then there is a good chance that you are interested in our wonderful school. My hope is that as you spend time perusing our website, you will learn a great deal about who we are and what we have to offer to your child(ren).
Our school houses grades pre-K through grade 4. In any given year, we have fifteen or so classrooms in our building, typically 2 or 3 classes at each grade level. We offer support services to include a student support center, guidance, social work, special education, gifted and talented, speech and language, title 1, art, gym, music, computer and library. Our school is very fortunate to have two computer labs allowing our students to be at the cutting edge in terms of technology experiences.
When driving to WPS, the upper parking lot is available for community members, parents, and visitors. Please enter the school by walking through the courtyard and following the pathway to your left. The office door is marked and all visitors are asked to enter here. The office staff will greet you and assist you with your questions. If you are planning a visit, please call ahead so we are readily able to address your needs.
So why would you be interested in WPS? There are many reasons. Our staff works hard to meet the needs of each and every child. We continue to work on monitoring individual students progress to assist in small group and large group instruction that meets the needs of our students. We have a wonderful environment that supports the whole child; socially, emotionally and academically. Our parent group, Partners in Education (P.I.E.) is alive and well constantly supporting our children and school. You too can become a piece of the P.I.E.
